Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet

I read bestseller of Jamie Ford, "Hotel on the corner of Bitter and Sweet" in Japanese.

Have you ever read this book?

I have interests in this sad but great story and was able to read it, because the stage of this book was Seattle.

I did not often visit International district of downtown Seattle but I would like to walk around the Panama hotel and Jackson street after reading the book.
I wanted to try reading English version and I made a reservation to borrow in a library. However, I do not know whether I can understand the English book .(^_^)

・・・And I want to draw the portrait of the characters.

友達のマネをして私も最近読んだ本のことを書きます。

ジェイミー・フォードのベストセラー、「あの日、パナマホテルで」は舞台が戦争中のシアトルで、今でもある場所なのですごく興味深く読めました。

藤田嗣治は作品も生き方も大好きな画家です。

池澤夏樹の「花を運ぶ妹」は主人公（妹）の兄が画家で舞台がバリ島でした。

３冊とも話の中にキーワードとして”絵”がでてきます。

ジェイミーフォードの本は図書館で英語のを借りて読んでみる予定で予約してきました。

ちょっと落ち込んだりしているときに読書は効果的ですよね。

いろいろあるよねー！（小説だから当然か！）なんて。
