Annual Miniature Show

I will join Gallery North at Edmonds－Annual Miniature art show during March.

If you have a time please visit Edmonds downtown in this month.

The gallery is located next to Starbucks Edmonds.　



He is my friend's cat  named "Yamato".








明日から地元ギャラリーのミニチュア・アートショウに展示させてもらいます。
ミニチュア専門のアーティストもいて、すごく盛んです。

私はあまり向いていないかも。何せ大雑把なもので・・・。
作っている最中はなんだか可愛いい気分になってくるんですけどね！
ちなみにこのモデルの黒ネコはマイアミに住んでいる友達の愛猫ヤマト。

今日、午前中は吹雪でした。はやく暖かくならないかな。

3rd position People's choice voting

I was among top 5 group in People's choice award of CVG show 2012. Before a day of the ending the exhibition, I was contacted by gallery that I might have a chance to have people's choice award, unfortunately my vote resulted in 3rd position.
Well, still I am happy as I liked this type of award. The choice went interesting one; flying eagle, that I like too.


プチ自慢：　先日のコンペの人気投票で１３０作品の中で３位でした。前日に電話がかかかってきて焦りました。そう、私は英語の電話が大嫌い。ジェスチャーが見えないからね。
でもでもこういう事って純粋にすごく励みになります。
とても嬉しい出来事でした。

テンションの高いうちに木を染めました。
結構匂いが強いです。

Sweet dog

This is my art work for my friend's pet.
I thought  the dog is "Boy" at first time, but it is girl.
She looks worry but actually she is so sweet!





友達のペットをデッサンさせてもらいました。
ブルっとしたたるみがなんともいえない。
オッサンかと思ったらなんと女の子でした。

Operation

My new mushroom has been under operation.

昨日からずっと捜している本があるのですが・・・・見つからないんです。

ひょっとして間違って捨ててしまったのか。

・・・でもさ、あの相田みつをさんだって、「にんげんだもの」って言ってるし。

Valentine's Day

今日１４日はバレンタインデーです。

関係ないけど、今日は（も）ちょっとしたケンカになりました。もちろんダンナと。

机でなにやら書き物をしていたのでお茶を入れてあげたら、机の上に自分でこぼしてしまったの。「頼んでないのに、もってくるからだ」だってさ。よく言うよね。

その後冷戦というか口きかない状態に突入。

そして、仲直り用にダンナが買ってきたチューリップ。

チューリップには罪がないので、飾りました。

他の方々の作品と比べるとちょっと違う印象かも。
審査員の粋なコメントが嬉しかったです。

Mushroom

I love apple!

日本のリンゴより小ぶりで安いです。
リンゴを買うのは好きだけど、皮をむくのが苦手。
その辺の道にリンゴの木があってボタボタ落ちたりしていても誰も拾ったりしていない。
野原に放置されている柿の木みたい。
カラスがつついているのを見ると、絵本の世界みたいでかわいいなって思う。

私が拾っているのを見たら、誰かかわいらしいと思ってくれるだろうか・・・・。

There was so beautiful moon tonight!

今夜の月は綺麗でした。まだちょっといびつでペラっとした感じ。

こちらは家のリビングルームに掛かっている奈良さんのドラミチャン。
昔、ドラエモン展で買ったポスターです。
私にとっての月であり招き猫。
うっすらと気味がわるい？一筋縄ではいかない性格を思わせます。
大好きな表情です。

Portrait

I have been painting for 3days. I used acrylic after a long interval.
I just did it for fun.

水を使う絵の具は昔から苦手だ。

サラリとした感じに仕上げたかったのに、想像していたよりもてこずった。

しばらくはもういいかな。

今日は良いお天気で気分も明るくなった。

明日も頑張りまっす！
